April has just flown by! I only finished 2 products which I like. Madame Glamour hand cream (75ml) and an aloe face mask, both from the Cien range by Lidl. The hand cream’s fragrance has been likened to Chanel Mademoiselle and I find it is not overpowering yet moisturises well. The face mask is a sachet containing enough for two uses and leaves skin soft and well hydrated without any over drying or irritation. 10/10 for both products.
The month started with the final touches to wedding planning and preparation. We bought some white ribbons to pimp my chair which were tied into bows on the day. I had my hair done in small plaits (braids) and also curled. We collected the cake and cupcakes on the 9th and went to the hotel. Wedding over, we came back on the 12th and since then I’ve been back to real life with a bump with honeymoon planning and book reviews (one of which I scheduled for our wedding day).
Camp NaNoWriMo was an event I wasn’t sure I’d be able to do this month but I managed it and revised and did final edits on 2 of my manuscripts. I attended 2 virtual write ins and did 3 critiques. World Book Night was a chance to relax and I watched Jurassic Park, Wonder and Ben is Back, all of which I’ll review in May.
April was a very busy month for me blog tour wise. I had eight in total and found a lot of books I loved, All those entries are on my blog. Oh, and let’s not forget Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon which was on the 6th and 7th of April, that was fun too.
