Our First Valentine’s Day as a Married Couple

This year is a special Valentine’s Day post for Alfredo and I, it’s the first one since we got married.

I really enjoyed today, we are able to just enjoy each other’s company. Some wierd things did happen though, including my wheelchair control playing up again.

I’m searching for a new one as I’ve had so many problems with it over the past 2 years (I’ll have had my current electric wheelchair for 4 in July).

Writer’s block is currently hindering my progress on my courses and I’m enjoying a short video series hosted by Gabriela Pereira of DIY MFA. 

 

I got an email with these quotes in from Sophie Kinsella, author of the Shopaholic series. I have her novel Remember Me. 

The chocolate quote is very fitting since Alfredo and I bought each other a box of chocolates -mine are praline filled chocolate hearts and his were cherry dark chocolates. 

Our greetings were shared in English and Spanish and the day was special with a meal and wine.
