Dewey’s 24 Hour Readathon 2020 Mini Challenge: Spell Your Name with Books

I am sure you have heard the saying “so many books, so little time.” We are now in hour 3 of the Redathon, and I think it’s going fast already. A name is something that is unique to us and it was chosen because our parents thought it was a good fit. We either love our name or dislike it and like the long or short form. Well, any avid bookworm like me knows it’s exactly like this with books. There are so many different types of books and ones that you are drawn to because, just like your name, they are unique to you. For this challenge, pick books with titles that begin with letters of your name. The first title must begin with the first letter of your name, the second with the second, and so on. Here’s my list as an example: K- Kahless by Michael Jan Friedman A- Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll T- The Ice Twins by S.K. Tremayne H-Horse Crazy by Sarah Maslin Nir E-Everything is Beautiful by Eleanor Ray R-Room by Emma Donaghue I-Instagram Poetry for Every Day by the National Poetry Library N-No Room at the Little Cornish Inn by Nancy Barone E-Eudora Honeysett is Quite Well Thank You by Annie Lyons You have the rest of the whole readathon to do this challenge and can choose any book format, length or genre. Share your books and progress in the comments!

    • Thanks Deb. My mind went back when I saw Eloise here- I loved the first book in the series when I was young. I have added Eloise in Paris to my TBR list. Here’s a Goodreads link to all the books in the series. I didn’t know there were so many.

    • Hi Karin! So great to see you here. There’s a first time for everything and even finishing one book or a few chapters is a good way to start. Even with a book or genre you love.
